One of Best Practices is to always present certification information at every chapter meeting- reviewing the value of certification to our memebers keeps them engaged and understand what value our organization brings to them- the Certification Toolbox has it all-
if there is anything you can add please let us know!!

Are there any "best practices" when note taking during the CEC practical exam and transfering to the electronic form?
Comment by Alina Cooper on July 23, 2012 at 12:24pm As ACF Chapter Certification Chairs we are asking for your assistance in sharing the good news that a new CCE® Written Exam will be implemented on September 20, 2012. Everyone taking the CCE® Written Exam on or after September 20 will take the new version of the exam. Chefs planning on taking the CCE® Written Exam prior to September 20, should make use of the current practice exams if interested.
Why is there a new CCE® exam and what is it like?
As many of you know, the Certification Commission performed a job analysis which resulted in a detailed list of the knowledge and skills needed by today’s successful Certified Culinary Educator®. The job analysis brings validity, value and relevance to ACF certifications. The complete CCE® exam specifications and recommended reference materials can be found on the CCE Certification ACF Website Page. The exam is 100 multiple choice questions and candidates will have up to 1 ½ hours to complete.
How do candidates prepare for the New CCE® Written Exam?
A new practice exam is available at e-culinary for chefs planning to take the CCE exam on or after September 20. This optional practice exam has been developed to reflect the same topics and weight as the actual exam.
Please contact the ACF Certification Department, (800-624-9458), if you have any questions. Thank you for your continued support of the ACF Certification program!
