BBQ and all the Fruit
Our September Chefs Meeting/Dinner will be held at Liberty Fruit Company with some of our local BBQ Experts helping to prepare the meal - Chef Russ Muehlberger, Chef Matt Chatfield and Chef Richard McPeake. Come join us on Tuesday September 14 starting at 7:00PM

On Sunday October 10, 2010 we are heading to the Marriott Muehlbach Hotel (Imperial Room) for our 35th Annual Chefs Showcase and Benefit. This is our Annual Fund Raiser and Awards Banquet. This is a perfect place to bring your friends, relatives, vendors or definitely any foodie in your life. We will have 20-25 restaurants participating, but there is still time to sign up and plenty of time to help sell tickets to the event.

On October 12th we head to Harvesters for our monthly dinner/meeting (contact Chapter President Chef Paul Santaularia if you would like to help with the meal)

October 14th finds the chapter back down at Harvesters but this time donating our time to help provide food to those who really need our help (please contact Ronna Keck to get on this growing list of volunteers)

If you are looking to certify Chef Steve Venne and the Art Institute Campus will be the location for those looking at the certification exam (spots are limited and are on a first come basis)

Its time to start gearing up for the 35th Annual Chefs Benefit. We are looking to promote ticket sales and looking for Participating Chefs.

Tickets are $50.00. Tables of 8 or 10 may be purchased.

The Boulevard Brewery will be our host again this year. Sharla Huseman and the Kansas Beef Council will be providing the presentation.

The Art Institutes, Capital Grille, Julien, Dean & DeLuca and Cafe Sebastien will be our dinner sponsors.

Come early and enjoy the the view of downtown in the city.

We have schedule change to accomodate the educational seminar.

Hors d'oeuvres from 6:00 to 6:30.

The presentation will begin promptly at 7:00.

A brief business meeting from 7:00 to 7:20

We will also be discussing information from the ACF National Convention that will be taking place the first week of August in Anaheim, CA
