Our ACF Board of Directors made a decision not to go forward with ACF Culinary Team USA 2012. Canceling Team USA’s participation in a culinary arena which showcases to the world our culinary and unique cooking skils is a slap in the face to all chefs, and especially to the ones who gave part of their life and dedication representing this great country in cooking.

This was the worst thing I ever experienced in the ACF and at this point I must think long and hard about renewing my membership, and if I will give my support to this board.

Thank you
Mr. Ty for making his holiday season so disappointing.

I know Im DCCA, but I wanted to get the ball rolling for 11/09. For anyone interested, we would like to put together a collaborative event at Worcester Tech High School. 18 stations, each with 4-burner range, two-door lowboy reefer, 5-foot prep table, hanging pot rack and prep sink. My thought is to run 3 comps simultaneously; student, Mystery Basket w/ student apprentice, and 1-hour contemporary. Any thoughts?

Also, I would like to pick your brains on your student team(s). You appear to have luck with them, and I would love to emulate your efforts in developing our juniors down here.

Cheers!
