I attended a culinary Think Tank at the Hall of Honors and The University of Houston. As a panelist I represented Culinary Arts and we are we headed. There are some great and challenging minds entering the industry. I am glad to watch them grow.

Chef Tim Banks has been a huge fan of broadcasted and written culinary media starting with the Galloping Gourmet. Since the mid 90’s Chef Tim has been dedicated to his craft and works to bring well presented and entertaining meals to life. His natural sense of humor and unique ways of getting the job done meld together into an unforgettable style that leave his audiences savoring for more! After several years of live on stage cooking demonstrations, he is fearless when it comes to engaging and thrilling the crowd with often very simple, yet delectable dishes. “From soup to nuts” he’s done it all. He has over 500 recipes that have been published. From Executive Chef, Director of Catering, Corporate Executive Chef and Food Consultant Chef Tim is not only creative, he’s also conscious, reminding everyone to “Feed yourself well!”

Chef Tim, thanks , i have been trying to get back with in the TCA, I used to be up toward the top, like your self, as the director, as I was the Assistant director, and all the position, in TCA, my son got very ill, and needed surgery, and I had to step back, which is when Chef Ben stepped in and decided to start to run the program, I work out of Lake jackson, and it is a long drive to get to the meeting on time, but i will try, thanks, Chef Phil Salinas
