Tennessee ServSafe® Food Safety Training

Foodborne illness and alcohol-related problems are major threats to your business and customers.  That's why the National Restaurant Assocation (NRA) created the ServSafe® program nearly 40 years ago.  And why - under the guidance of scientists and industry specialist - ServSafe® training and certification are your best protection.  This is the leading program that has been rigorously developed, regularly updated and solely administered by a single authority and used worldwide.

TENNESSEE STATE FOOD SAFETY REQUIREMENT


Food Code Requirement: Certified professional food manager training & ANSI/CFP Exam is not mandated by the state of Tennessee.

Class & Exam Type: Online & Classroom Training and Exams are excepted to meet Tennessee Food Code Requirement.

Certificate Renewal:  Valid for 5 years and must present original certificate.  Photo copies are not accepted.

Instructor Requirements: Certification courses must be taught by a local environmental health specialist or a food and nutrition health specialist. (registered ServSafe instructor or equivalent).

Current Scheduled Classes: Private Classes of 6 or more are valuable 7 days a week upon request.  Email us for more details.
